And by the time the new year comes if we are still in or around the top, we can go into our home games against the teams we have beaten away with confidence.
I still feel there is a lot more to come from this side, we are 10 games in and some of what are considered our better players have not kicked a ball yet. Happy days.

William Hill odds for the title:
Chelsea 33/1
Liverpool 50/1
Tottenham 125/1
West Ham 250/1
I can perhaps understand Chelsea's odds but the placement of two very average sides (Liverpool and Tottenham) above us suggests the world hasn't yet woken up to the fact that this is a very different West Ham from the one Allardyce handed over.
I doubt there is a better use of a tenner than a punt on us to win it at 250/1.

I put a silly bet on at the beginnign of the season for us to win the league at 2500-1 but only stuck a pound on it.
last week, after our win at Palace we went OUT to 5000-1 so I stuck a tenner e/w.
Back in to 750-1 after yesterday,
OK we wont win the league but if we do 'll have a shit load of cash to celebrate with!
